Skin Tag:
Skin tags, also known as acrochordons, are a type of skin growth that protrudes from the skin on a short, narrow stalk. They are typically found on the neck, upper chest, underarms, and eyelids, and are usually harmless and painless.

Although skin tags do not require treatment, they may become irritated if they rub against clothing, and some people may find them bothersome due to their appearance. In these cases, skin tags can be removed through various methods such as freezing, cauterization, cryosurgery, or electrosurgery.

Freezing involves using liquid nitrogen to freeze the skin tag, causing it to fall off. Cauterization involves using heat to burn off the skin tag. Cryosurgery uses extreme cold to freeze and destroy the skin tag. Electrosurgery involves using an electrical current to burn off the skin tag.
It's important to note that while these treatments are generally safe, they should only be performed by a qualified medical professional to minimize the risk of complications. Additionally, it's crucial to keep the area clean and follow any aftercare instructions provided by the healthcare provider to promote proper healing.
